New and Replacement Windows This service is designed for people who are planning to or have extended their home, or require double glazing sash windows or want to refresh their home with the latest sash windows systems crafted bespoke to your individual requirements. All our windows are provided with an extensive range of glazing options. Your new and replacement window requirements are realised by a simple inspection of your existing windows. The inspection of your property enables detailed measurments of your new and replacement windows. After our visit we provide you with a free no obligation estimate. Upon confirmation of your order our team design the windows and set about the task of building you a complete window from start to finish. Our windows are built using sustainable grade ‘A’ redwood, hardwood or oak. Once our joinery team have built your windows our fitting teams will install them into your property.

Refurbishment and Repainting Windows

Our refurbishment and repainting service has been designed for people who want to refresh their windows and remove draughts and rattles without having to replace their windows.

The first step is to remove the sashes from the box frame, burn off all the paint on the flat surfaces, including the inner liner of the box frame, the delicate mouldings which protects the glass and surround the windows are also sanded down in preparation for full re-painting. The sashes will be filled and repaired were necessary, re-primed and fully repainted with three coats of micro porous paint which allows the timber to breath. Your refurbished and improved sash windows with the draught excluder system are then reinstalled by our expert fitting team.

Refurbishment with Draught Exclusion Only

This service is designed for people who wish to stop draughts, rattles and attain better fitted windows but do not need new windows or windows repainting. When refurbishing your existing windows we will be checking the weights, fitting new nylon cords, fitting draught excluders to all new beads and across the centre of your sashes, we will also fit new fittings, including dual position security bolts, sash lifts and centre catch. You will be able to open both of your windows with ease and a minimum of 90% of the draught will have been eradicated with your windows never rattling again.

New Box Frames or New Sashes with Refurbishment

This service is designed for people that need only sash windows or box frames refurbished or replaced. New box frames are constructed out of a Grade ‘A’ redwood with a hardwood sill. Pulleys are machined into the new box as are access pockets to gain access to the wieghts. Special drainage points are put into the box to allow rainwater to run away. We fit a full draught excluding system to your windows as we would do on a refurbishment. New sashes are also constructed out of a Grade ‘A’ redwood timber and these are designed to either take single glazed, acoustic glass or double glazed to comply with Part L 2002 standards. We fit a full draught excluding system to your windows as we would do on a refurbishment. All glazing bars are machined and fitted individually into the sash window frame, we do not stick our glazing bars onto the glass.

Re-instating Sash Windows
This service is designed for people that want to bring sash windows back into the character of their home and property.
We can remove the U.V.P.C or aluminium windows presently in place and replace with traditional wooden box frames and sashes in the style of the original architecture which will not only enhance the appearance of your property but will also improve its value. Our Glazing Options All our sash windows come with a range of glazing options. These options include single glazing, acoustic glass to help reduce outside noise nuissance, double glazing or toughened safety glass. All our double glazing options fully comply with Part L 2002 standards.

Although we are The Specialist in Traditional Sash Windows our highly trained and qualified staff are also able to manufacture bespoke Casement Windows, French Doors and BI-folding doors. With all our manufactured products we use only the highest quality timber which is treated with a woodworm, wet and dry rot preservative before painting with micro porous paint which allows the timber to breathe naturally, which extends the life of the timber.
