How We Work

Step 1: The First Step is to contact us

Once you have contacted us with your enquiry, we will arrange a meeting with you at a time that is convenient to yourselves. Following our visit to your property and after viewing your windows and discussing with you your personal requirements, we will then put together a full detailed estimate which will be sent to you clearly stating what was discussed at our meeting.

Step 2: Agreed Works Contract and Pre-Manufacture Survey

Once we have received your instructions to commence the work we always ensure that a contract is signed between you and the company. The deposit you are required to pay is fully backed by an insurance policy which guarantee’s your deposit. This policy also protects the warranty that the company provides. A detailed survey is carried out at your property in order to take precise measurements of your windows/doors that are to be replaced or refurbished. A major part in the design of your windows will be the glazing bars and you will need to choose which designs you prefer in your windows/doors. One design is individually glazed or bonded bars onto the glass. This is not an easy decision to make without seeing them, so to make your choice easier you can visit our showroom to identify your specific needs.

Step 3: Design

All the measurements are given to our design team who create the necessary drawings for your new windows/doors to be manufactured.

Step 4: Joinery

Measurements and designs are handed over to the joinery team who begin the manufacturing process in our very own on site workshops. A mixture of advanced technology and joinery expertise ensure that all sash windows are produced to an extremely high standard.

Step 5: Painting

The wooden frames are then treated with a wet rot, dry rot and woodworm preservative before being passed to our painting department where your windows are hung up and sprayed with 3 coats of micro porous paint before being moved into our specialist drying area.

Step 6: Glazing

The painted window frames are then given to our specialist glaziers who, with care and precision, will fit the selected glass that you require whether that be single, double glazed or acoustic glass.

Step 7: Fitting

All our Fitters are employed by the company and have to complete a rigorous training program. The fitting team chosen to fit your new windows will ensure that the property is protected by dust sheets and after completing the work will leave each room as tidy as he found it.

Step 8: After Sales Service

Our after sales service team will make sure that all necessary guarantees are forwarded to you and that FENSA, where appropriate, are advised so that the necessary documentation can be forwarded to you be them.
