See our quality range of timber built, Cottage style double glazed Casement Windows. All our new Casement Frames are constructed to your exact specifications. Any special requirements you may have can also be replicated using our state of the art machinery. The new frame and Casement Windows will be Fully Painted in our workshop with three coats of a micro porous acrylic paint, before any work is carried out on site. Once the fitting of your new Casement Windows has commenced, a full Draught Exclusion systems is then incorporated into the new frame.

During our survey we will take specific measurements and details of your existing windows, which we will then match to the new windows in order to enhance the character and value of your home.
All Casement Windows are hung on ball bearing hinges to ensure easy opening and prolonged life. We pride ourselves on giving you a 10 Year Warranty on all double glazed units.

Timber

Our Casement Frames and Windows are made from Grade ‘A’ Redwood Timber (Softwood) except the Sill which is made from Sapele Hardwood to match 95% of all existing Sash Windows. If you require, the Box Frame and Sashes can be made from any Timber of your choice, including Sapele Hardwood, European Oak or Accoya. All timber is Preserved from Wet Rot, Dry Rot and Woodworm Preservative before painting.

Glazing

The new Casement Windows will be fitted with double glazed units that have a U-Value of 1.6 or less. These units have been tested and certified to this level.
If you require Glazing Bars we have two options you need to consider:
Your Sashes can be individually glazed, for example if you have one central glazing bar this will have two separate panes of glass in each sash with an integral Glazing Bar.
Alternatively Sashes can have Bonded Bars, to reduce the size of the Glazing Bar down to a minimum of 21mm. For example if your Sash Window has one central Glazing Bar this will require one pane of glass in each Sash with the Glazing Bar Bonded directly onto the Glass. This option is particularly effective when replacing a single window in a property full of original single glazed sashes.

Window Furniture

The Casement’s are finished with our quality range of Window Furniture including security locks. These security locks are insurance approved. If requested, we can also fit Child Safe security locks which will allow the window to be open to a fixed position but not fully open.
