Bespoke Double Glazed Sash Windows

Specialist sash window installation, replacement and upgrades.

Discover how we can transform your sash windows

Here at the Specialist in Traditional Sash Windows, we have over 200 years of experience installing new and replacement sash windows for customers across London, the Home Counties, and the South East. All our wooden sash windows and box frames are built to order from our workshop in Guildford, Surrey, and installed by our own specialist fitters.

As part of our commitment to sustainable production, we exclusively use high-quality timber for our sash windows. We NEVER use uPVC plastic for our frames – the manufacture of which uses 8 times more energy than timber windows. In particular, we specialise in the use of Accoya for our sash windows: a beautiful, natural wood that is vastly more durable and sustainable than plastic alternatives.

Our work is fully guaranteed, with up to a 50-year timber warranty against rot for added peace of mind.

The benefits of installing new sash windows:

  • Re-instate the classic look of period homes and add value to your property
  • Maintain the character of your house – we always ensure the rules of listed buildings are adhered to
  • Replace warped, jammed or hard-to-open window frames
  • Improve heat retention and reduce draughts with double glazing
  • Upgrade to the latest in window technology and security (our supplied security locks are insurance-approved & child safe)
  • Improve airflow and operation
  • Reduce noise through the use of acoustic safety glass
